Biography

Dalton Allen, MD, is a Texas native who practices primary care medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed his family medicine residency at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Allen enjoys the variety of challenges with primary care and how primary care allows him to provide full continuity of care to his patients. His favorite part about being a primary care physician is interacting with people and doing his best to help them by coming up with solutions to their problems. His special patient care approach is based on the simple and fundamental belief that doctors are here to help people. He believes in using his knowledge to help patients make the best-informed decisions for their long-term health.

Dr. Allen lives with his spouse and two daughters in Arlington. He is particularly interested in preventive care and treating asthma, COPD, diabetes and high blood pressure.
