Carolina Ruiz, NP, understands receiving palliative care can be difficult for patients and their families. She values the opportunity to work with patients in the comfort and security of their own homes.

NP Ruiz knows most patients prefer to receive end-of-life care at home, and she works tirelessly to help them achieve this goal while ensuring their safety and comfort. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, she now resides in Harlingen, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes and participating in family game nights. She is married with two sons and a daughter.
