Christina Avila, MD, has a passion for scientific and medical research. Today, she's proud to use her expertise to serve as a trusted family care provider. In her practice, Dr. Avila helps her patients take charge of their health and optimize their well-being.

Dr. Avila knows each of her patients has a unique story. She gets to know her patients as individuals to better understand their life journey. During each appointment, Dr. Avila works to help patients learn more about their health needs so they can take proactive steps to protect their well-being. She believes many chronic conditions can be prevented or managed with early intervention and helps her patients explore new ways to reduce their risk of disease and improve their longevity.

Dr. Avila is a University of Texas Southwestern Medical School graduate and board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a proud resident of El Paso, where she was born and raised. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and relaxing with her family. Dr. Avila is married and has two children.
