He is very moody and when I ask him about effects of medication on my particular medical condition, he responds sometimes with a shrug of his shoulders and doesn’t ever seem sure. Doesn’t always seem request certain lab tests that I need due to my condition. I have to always check my lab request form because certain lab tests are missing. The reason sometimes I am told is that that particular test was normal before….but it should be checked due to my medical conditions each time I do labs.

Sometimes he doesn’t include certain things for my labs which I feel are important because of my health conditions. Like my hemoglobin count or micro albumin. Just because it was normal in the previous labs it should not be ignored in the following labs.

Dr. Juan Amador listens to me and advises me based on my medical history what I should and should not do. He is outstanding is not one to do scans unless it’s necessary because I’ve had cancer and he does not want me to have much radiation. He gives me alternative to some issues like for instance B12 for my possibly Neuropathy. I like his approach his practice. He knows I do not like taking medications and is outstanding. Thank you so much he and Jessica and Jenny, the nurses in a court scene from phlebotomist to front desk. Outstanding.

As a new doctor to the office, he asked no questions about my background or my previous care - he changed medication w/o telling me - a medication regime agreed upon through 2 other doctors. He simple denied a refill w/o TALKING to me - he may have been right to do so - but he did NOT discuss this with me or try in any way to know me as a patient. I've been going to this office for what 15 years they've been under different names and they've moved three times but I've gone with them every single time. I have only had to change doctors twice since I have been going to this office. The first doctor,Dr.Dario, He left the practice and I believe went to work in a hospital the second doctor I think I had him for maybe a year but it turned out that I guess he was very sick so he had to leave the practice and the one that I have now Dr.Amador, I can't speak enough highly of the man's medical experience his integrity and his compassion and even when I ramble on and I'm really good about that. Had hips replaced a year ago the staff there the nurses and the referral department made sure that everything was done completely before I walked into that hospital and had the surgery. After surgery, 2 weeks of rehab and went back to see Dr Amador, he was so happy to see me and so so amazed on the progress that I had made like 2 months after the surgery. The doctor and all the staff were so encouraging before I had the surgery and they all were tickled to death to see the progress that had made and I was out of that wheelchair and I was on that Walker getting ready to go to the cane and they couldn't believe I was the same person. During the time that I was in the hospital after surgery and also in rehab they got in touch with me to check and see how I was doing with my progress which I don't know of any primary care doctor that ever does that I can't say enough of gratitude to Dr Amador and his staff.. When I went back a couple months later and I was off the Walker and I walked her Dr Amador and the nurse is down the hallway I got all sorts of yay and claps and everything and you could see the tears swelling up and Dr amador's eyes he was so happy for me and again I know I'm repeating myself but they gave me so so much encouragement and I almost canceled the surgery because that's when covid was really high in the hospitals and I called and I talked to Dr Amador and we discussed it and I made the final decision to go ahead and do it and put my life into God's hands and make sure that hopefully I didn't get covid along with doing the surgery Plus on top of that I have multiple sclerosis so my immune system is not that great but they went out of their way to make sure that I was okay before or after and who does that what doctors do that anymore? And I know that the doctor see a lot of patience and so did the nurses and they have to go over their notes but I have a good relationship with Dr Amador and the nurses they know who I am by name maybe it's cuz I've been going so long or maybe it's because I got such a big mouth but everybody knows who I am at that office and that makes you feel good when you walk into a doctor's office you feel like home and comfortable and you can talk to them about any problem at all and believe me over the years I have had lots of problems and called and talk to the doctors in the nurses and even the girls in the referral department..

MRI showed SEVERE osteoarthritis at triscaphe & 1st CMC joint- TFCC degeneration & radial sided tear & MODERATE wrist effusion. But *DR. AMADOR SAID everything is NORMAL. Nurse practitioner who ordered MRI sent in a referral for ortho (I was told when I read the report and called in to get a referral. 4. Told me to go to my rheum. for drugs for condition.
