A caring doctor who knows her stuff. However when an appointment is made at WellMed I have to ask to see her, otherwise a PA or PN is assigned to me. I want a doctor. This clinic in San Benito is busy and another doctor is needed and patients want a doctor and not a nurse with a master’s degree seeing them.

I think she’s very nice and takes her time with her patients. She does listen to what I have to say, but terrible I renewing my prescriptions. Here’s the current issue. I requested metformin 850 on Wednesday and Dr Lora had to write a new script because we went from 1/2 tab to whole daily. On Friday I called WalMart and asked the Pharmacist if the prescription was ready. They never got the request to refill. Patty the pharmacist said she would call the doctor. It’s Saturday night and on Monday I run out of metformin!! This has happened 3 times with this medication. So who’s to blame? Dr Lora not doing her job or WellMed?

Dr. Lora is not real informed with any of my physical problems. Mentally,I am sharp and very alert. I have problems walking. I also have AFib. and two heart valves that do not close completely. So, I get tired more quickly. Have a little balance problem lately too. Dr. Lora is a sweet person and very kind . We will get to know each other with time. I was with Dr. Salazar over 20 years. Takes time .

I am treated like a person, not a number. She takes time to explain everything and really cares. My previous anxiety of going to the doctors has changed dramatically. While I have numerous health conditions she helps me keep every thing in prospective and not become overwhelmed as I get at times.
