Biography

Dr. Byrd earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Baylor University before receiving his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport in 1992. He completed an internship and residency at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, becoming board-certified in family medicine in 1995. In 2001, Dr. Byrd opened his own practice. He recertified in 2002, 2009, and again in 2019.
