Nilesh Vyas, MD

Nilesh Vyas, MD, practices internal medicine. He attended medical school at the Baroda University Medical College in Vadodara, India, and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Vyas initially pursued a career in medicine because he wanted to help people who were ill and required life-saving assistance. His favorite part of practicing internal medicine is talking with his patients and being involved in their medical care.

Dr. Vyas describes his patient care philosophy as simple: He strives to become friends with his patients and their families and treat them with great respect and passion.

Dr. Vyas was born and raised in India and lives in Pearland, Texas. He is married and has two adult children. In his spare time, he loves reading books, traveling and playing with his four grandchildren. He is particularly interested in preventive care, geriatric medicine and hospice care. His other clinical interests include COPD, diabetes and heart disease.
