Biography

Jhonnatan Garduno, PA, came to Texas from Mexico City at the age of 14. He attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he earned his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.

Mr. Garduno chose internal medicine because it deals with the whole spectrum of care. He also saw an enormous need for primary care providers in Texas, particularly among historically underserved populations.

In his practice, he particularly enjoys working with and getting to know the older adults who come to him for care. He offers preventive care and helps manage chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure. He believes good communication is key to the provider-patient relationship. He wants to understand what each patient needs so he can address their concerns directly.

Outside of work, Mr. Garduno enjoys spending time with his family. He likes trying new restaurants and attending local events with his wife. He also likes cheering on his eight-year-old daughter and her soccer team.

    Well, again it was my first to meet with him, but he was very professional when he presented himself as a physician, he listen, he showed compassion, a sense of caring, and he follow up with did i have any questions pertaining to my exam. So this stood out for me as a patient. Showing that you care for a patient is number one on my list as a physician character as a Doctor, or PA.
