Biography

A native of Irving, Texas, Jessica Uehlinger, PA, received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She is certified by the Texas Medical Board and the NCCPA.

In middle school, Ms. Uehlinger was inspired to become a physician assistant after getting to know a PA in her family medical practice office. That PA mentored Ms. Uehlinger as she pursued her training and wrote her a letter of recommendation for PA school. They continue to stay in touch now.

Ms. Uehlinger chose family medicine because it allows her to focus on health promotion and develop patient relationships to last for many years. She believes earning trust is an important way to ensure patients feel comfortable talking about anything. She loves to listen to everything patients want to discuss, from details about their health to stories about their early life and family.

In her spare time, Ms. Uehlinger enjoys spending time with her husband, children and parents, as well as being active with their two golden retrievers. She also loves 90s music, running and reading books.
