Biography

Immanuel Amissah, MD, prioritizes building a solid doctor-patient relationship when treating his patients. He believes this is a critical factor in improving outcomes.

Dr. Amissah attended medical school at St. George University School of Medicine and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and his diabetes management fellowship at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Amissah discovered his passion for caring for sick people at a young age, which inspired him to attend medical school. He specializes in providing holistic care to his patients. His favorite part of his job is when patients come back and thank him for the care he has provided. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Dr. Amissah now lives with his spouse in Fort Myers, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, exercising and watching European soccer.
