Kathleen Berger, MD

Kathleen "Kate" Berger, MD, treats her patients like a family, working together as a team to optimize their health. She has a special interest in preventive care and working with geriatric patients.

Dr. Berger decided to pursue a career in medicine because she is passionate about helping and healing others. She received her medical degree from the University of Guadalajara and completed 3 years of general surgery at Bronx-Lebanon and Lincoln Hospitals. Later, she completed a fellowship in general surgery at Queens Hospital Center.

Dr. Berger's professional life is balanced by her personal life in Katy, Texas. She was born in Houston, Texas, and now resides in Katy. In her free time, she cherishes spending time with her family, traveling, gardening and is a number one Astros fan.
