My Doctor, Doctor Asha, Samuel would not give a prior authorization to the Pharmacy for one of my medications that I desperately need for pain in my lower back. I have had an MRI done, and X-rays that show I have dis-located disks and a fracture in my lower spine. I live in so much pain on a daily basis. I also suffer from Anxiety, PTSD, and Depression. She dis owned me as a patient, so now I have to find somewhere else to go, all while I am in pain every single day.

I have been going to Dr. Asha for probably 10 years as my general practitioner. She is very conscientious, kind, polite, and is genuinely interested in what my problem is. Her last comment is usually “well take care of this”. All my answers are related to Dr. Asha than to Wellmed.

I do not like being treated like a child. In reference to my past appointment which happened to be on my [omitted] birthday for my yearly exam. I was scheduled for the first appointment (8:30 am). I was there on time, before Asha arrived. Then another person walked in. Asha saw me and greeted me as she walked in. The person waiting with me was called in. I asked the receptionist if that person was seeing Asha. Her response was yes. I asked what time that person's appointment was and was told that person did not have an appointment scheduled. Which meant in my view that person was a walk-in. I was given no explanation on why that person was given priority over myself that DID have a scheduled appointment. I would have understood if that person was in distress, had an emergency (which did not appear to be the case). As I said it was my [omitted] birthday, not to brag about my age but being said I did have other plans that day. Further more this survey asked of me tells me that WELLMED doesn't even know that I was not seen by Asha or an assistant or anyone other than the receptionist, which I want to add, was very apologetic but could not provide a reason for me being skipped over. Asking me to take this survey tells me you are not interested in me as a person but instead are hoping for a 5 star rating from an account number. I haven't even been contacted by Asha or anyone else in that office to ask if I would consider rescheduling. Good thing that I have John Samuel my cardiologist taking care of me, who happens to be Asha's husband by the way. If you want to know I would give him a "VERY SATISFIED 11 out of 10".
