I usually don’t give 10s, but this is an exception. She gets to the point and tells it like it is. She does listen to me also. I feel very comfortable with her with my health. Dr Sands is easy to talk to, respectful and just someone you want as a friend.

Several issues. She wanted me to come in for my visit without a blood study when at [omitted], I have a thyroid issue and take meds. for it. It has happened in the past as well. This last appt. I was to come in w/o a blood study and I sent a letter to the provider that I declined the appt, because of this same issue. I stated I need you to tell me how I'm doing not me to tell you how I'm doing . I got a letter back stating you now have a blood appt. and a new follow up appt. with the Dr. This last Appt., she came and was very thorough however, I was prescribed a chest and rib x-ray study and she did not come in the room with either and didn't go over the results. I was a 45 yr. practicing D.C.(very upset) with her. I was going to call you but this came on line. Thank you. A lot of staff changes as well. She presents well but repeated lack of focus as in pre exam study prior to entering the room.

She has a reluctance to getting you to a specialists or better testing ! Never had a Colonoscopy under her care or been checked for enlarged Prostate ! I will be changing Doctors after my current round of treatments are concluded ! She is a wonderful person with great staff and location but at my age I believe it is time to move on to a doctor that is more proactive for the Patient !

Dr Sands doesn’t really seemed interested in what I have to say and doesn’t take much time to go over test results prior to my appointment as to blood testing unless I specifically ask. She’s not really interested in asking about doctor appointments with other providers. Just Not really interested.
