Biography

Monica Ogaz, NP, is a nurse practitioner board-certified in family medicine and psychiatric mental health. Her patient care philosophy is to practice compassion and treat patients like family.

NP Ogaz initially pursued a career in medicine because she wanted to be an advocate for her patients. She enjoys making a difference in patients’ lives and helping them improve their health. She chose to work in family medicine because she likes connecting with patients and helping them manage acute and chronic conditions. Her favorite part of her job is collaborating with patients to implement individualized preventive health plans.

NP Ogaz was born and raised in Juarez, Mexico, but currently lives in El Paso, Texas. She completed her training at Walden University and NMSU. In her free time, she enjoys running and spending time with her family. Clinically, she has a particular interest in treating behavioral health conditions.
