There has been times Dr. Has reminded me of my age ( as if I am not WELL aware) followed by= So you can expect=) I'm not there for that. Knowing how busy our Drs are, it's very rare to have a primary that takes the time to listen to you. Communication is very important to me, especially because of my age ([omitted]). I have faced cavalier attitudes of- Oh you know you are growing old. Nobody knows that better than me- but, I want a Dr. Willing to try to help me live as long as I can with whatever quality of life I have. I asked if I needed iron tablet for I get very tired. When I do things in the house. He said, take a nap, I haven't taken a nap in my whole life. Mammogram, we do not ask for mammogram at the age of [omitted]. Can you help with cramp I get them at night when I sleep. Drink tonic water, I said, I have water on my night stand.
