She is very professional, and has been my PCP for a long time. But I am still struggling with my ability to see only her when I have an unexpected issue, which luckily is rare for me. But as I told her last week, because of past difficulties in getting an "urgent" appointment, I did not even consider calling Optum, but instead got right in at a local urgent care connected to Orlando Health, where I received prompt and excellent care. But I wanted to see Dr. Nguyen, not a stranger, as I was nervous and in pain.

Awesome, she listens to your concerns. She asks are you taking the prescribed medication each time I go and wants to know if I am having any discomfort on the meds. Her bedside manner is honest and trustworthy. She always responds to calls or her nurse will respond and contact her if deemed necessary. I find less time at the hospital is a great feeling they provide great care so there is no need to go to the emergency room or a clinic. Her judgment is always on point for me and my health.

I made 3 attempts to see her when I was very sick with a respiratory & bad cough that my family & I had been passing back & forth. She was unavailable all 3 times, causing me to get sicker, have bone damage from a very bad cough that needed treating & went on a very long time, & causing me to have to turn to a few visits to an urgent care clinic to receive treatment to get well & with final result of multiple thoracic fractures due to a long period of untreated severe coughing & lack of spine/rib x-rays.

She INSISTED I take a statin for high LDL (my HDL & ratio were good). i said I did not want to take the medicine but she got annoyed that I said no. I also asked about Lisinopril (high blood pressure) med that I take and I am concerned about it. She would not comment - said it is good!

Part Two: Once outside office, I called them and attempted to have the video conference on my phone in my car outside the office. I could only get so far in the sequence before I had a message that told me I could not go any further. I called the office. The PA came out and tried to do what I was supposed to do. YES! She got the same whacky message I did! She returned to the office and brought out an iPad device from which I could have my video conference. Way too much time for this entire episode.
