Kathy Nguyen Casado, MD

Kathy Nguyen, MD, actively listens to patients during every visit and pays close attention to details. She approaches her work with accountability and strives to get to know each patient as a whole.

Dr. Nguyen strives to make each patient feel important and never like a number. When she was a teenager, her mom became ill, inspiring her to understand the root cause of illnesses. The primary care field appeals to her because it allows her to educate patients and develop long-term relationships.

Dr. Nguyen was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, but grew up in Peoria, Illinois. She has lived in Winter Garden, FL, since 2011. Dr. Nguyen is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She loves spending time with her husband, two children and friends. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling (especially on cruises), watching soccer and trying new foods. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
