Only thing is never get to talk to doctor.when I call. It is always someone other than the doctor. It seems LIKE A CORPORATION AND THE DOCTOR IS THE CEO. HARD TO SEE. Have to go through several layers of people to get to him or her. I have been to the doctor office a number of times and never see the doctor. Dr. Kowal is a very good doctor but not always available. Just an opinion.

I am grateful to have someone like Dr. Kowal being my primary physician. A normal follow up visit usually lasts 10-15 minutes. This woman spent close to 40 minutes with me. I felt like at times that she wasn't just talking to me as a patient, but a friend that understood and cared. Dr Kowal provided a great deal of emotional comfort that day. For which I am grateful.

*Kelly did not listen that I needed a neurosurgeon or similar - she referred me to a orthopedic surgeon who then said I needed a NEUROLOGIST, I am in tx now. *Kelly did not listen stating "I know all about you. I read the file and talked to *Dr. Kowal. When I told her how bad I was feeling she said "Well then you should not be driving" - talked about DMV - my brain & legs are working in the car - I just have difficulty walking. She scared me with her attitude and I will NEVER be comfortable to tell her that I don't feel good and she also stated that she knew a lot about orthopedic problems. I do know my body and the end result proved that I need neurological services. I do not trust her "know it all".

I came in for my physical. I had a list of questions to address but all the doctor did was go over my lab work and listen to my breathing. If this is the new normal then why should I have to go to the doctor at all if all they are going to do is review my lab work. We never went over my questions as the doctor was quick to get up and head out the door. Additionally, I now have to take time from work to find another doctor for my girly issues. Maybe I've just been lucky in the past but my primary care doctors have always done the paps, and breast exam, checked reflexes, looked in my ears, nose and throat, etc.
