At my age([omitted]) and due to all the health issues that I have and pertaining to THIS visit I was made to feel that my statements and questions upset him. His tone of voice changed due to a question I asked. Although, I realize that I do express my doubts on my lab results; he seemed angered at my concern over a number on my Kidneys. Again expressing frustration, and informing that I showed NO Trust in him I felt like a child being scolded and had to stop talking and listen to His statements. It was after he spoke that I felt the need to request permission to be allowed to continue why I was asking and express my fears on the Lab results. Never in the over 40yrs that I was seen by Dr. Richmond did he make me feel uncomfortable or Stupid as I did with this visit. I feel that my question was valid and that his response was unprofessional and could have been handled in a different manner. I am NO DOCTOR and I needed to hear a reason or explanation on my Kidney number. Again, I know that I have expressed my doubts, my fears, and my depression numerous times; his actions were uncalled for and should have been handled with more professionalism. He is very young, and very intelligent BUT on THIS visit it was HE that showed Stupidity, Rudeness, and Unconcern for this Patient. I hope that NO OTHER patient has experienced what I did.

I do not think he is a people person. I asked for tests to be run to see how my thyroid, cholesterol (since it is high off and on), blood pressure in regards to the amount of medication I had been taken, nose spray, and any other tests I should take for my health.

I’ve had to change Doctor’s a few times in my lifetime, due to insurance policies. The last time I had to look for a new doctor, my brother and nephew were Dr. Ledbetter’s patients and recommended him. On my first appointment with him, he asked me all about my history and what I needed from him. I was impressed with him from the get go. On follow up visits he suggested that I have some tests that he would like me to schedule. I told him that if he needed any further information or test to tell me when and where. I “TRUST HIM”.

Dr.ledbetter always explains your tests ot test you might require.he is patient.and makes sure you understand the instructions for my care. I have to pay 40% of my bill because I have Aetna Medicare ppo..after dr.ledbetter left the clinic to be with wellmed..I tried 3 other doctors and I wasn't satisfied so I just came back to treat with dr.ledbetter..plus he's very knowledgeable as a doctor.
