He seemed to not listen, has his own ideas, does not relate to my back pain, prescribed D-3 5000Iu without telling me why, said I don't need a colonoscopy since I am [omitted] and made it this far. Don't need a chiropractor or help for my back pain.

Dr. Difonzo became my PCM after my 1st doctor refused to see me because she was afraid of dog. I saw Dr. Difronzo several times, he retired and I was assigned to Dr. Jain. I have been bringing my service dog since from the beginning of switching to Optum. We made sure before my 1st appointment, that the Dr. Jain would not be afraid of my service dog. But, after waiting for about 30 minutes for him to come in and see me, he walked in and seemed shocked that I had a service dog with me. He said I could just bring in a dog without getting it approved first. When I attempted to share with him that I had been bring her to every visit, but was not able too. He waned to know why I needed a service dog, what was it for and I told him he can only ask me 2 questions about my dog and those were not the right questions. He was more interested in telling me what I needed to do to overcome what he was guessing was reason for the service dog. He even told me what drugs I should be taking, that I shouldnt have PTSD...it is the most ridiculous conversation I have ever had with a doctor in my life. I have never experienced a doctor that dictated what I needed before assessing me and asking questions. I am under the care of the VA for my mental health, not Dr. Jain. Dr. Jain assumes he knows better that all others that have came before him in my care. I called the legal department at K9's for Warriors and they called to let the Optum staff know what the ADA laws are. I will never return to Optum again.
