Samantapudi Daya, MD

Samantapudi Daya, MD, is devoted to helping his patients enhance their quality of life and lead the best lives possible. Cardiology is his specialty, which he believes is a highly dynamic field with great advances and the ability to save many lives.

Dr. Daya was born and raised in India. He decided to pursue a career in medicine while working alongside inspiring physicians in medical camps during high school and attended Bangalore Medical College to earn his medical degree. He then moved to the U.S. to complete his residency at Penn State University/York Hospital and his fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Heart disease and women’s health are his top clinical interests.

Interacting with his patients and seeing them feel better is Dr. Daya’s favorite aspect of serving as a medical doctor. He currently lives in Frisco, Texas, with his wife and three children. Running and spending quality time with his kids are his favorite activities.
