My Doctor and his staff are excellent. Optum management is terrible. They stopped allowing the doctor to give sample medicines. I had to go to another doctor to get samples of Trelegy ($610 per month) to help get through the Medicare doughnut hole. Optum still mandates masks even though the CDC says they are not needed for vaccinated people. Optum believes in virtual signaling rather than science. Currently looking for another primary care company. There are 90 in a 10 mile radius that accept Humana Gold+, 19 are Optum so they are ruled out, 71 to check out.
