Very caring physician who takes the time to discuss with you about important issues regarding your current health status and discusses recommendations. Doesn't push expensive prescriptions or medical tests or screenings unless he thinks it is absolutely necessary for your overall well being. I like a doctor "who thinks outside the box" and can discuss other alternatives with their patients. Although I do not have any major problems so far, thank God, and only see him every six months I feel comfortable talking to him and having a repore with him.

He has been my doctor for 30 years. He detected and treated me up to my liver transplant. He picked up after and work with me closely, balancing my anti rejection medications with other issues I am having and controling them as we have the last 7 years with the post liver transplant. I am not a adverage person using my meds, always check side effects and interactions. I have to take meds twice a day 12 hours apart, I am timely so variables are easy to detect with his backup of blood test orders. I guess I can't live without him. Thanks Doc.

I would recommend Dr. Bhadja in an instant, were it not for his affiliation with Optum. He is and has always been highly responsive, competent and caring. On the other hand, I find the Optum staff to be hyper-sensitive and the management to be unduly reactive in a negative way. On one occasion, a staff member insisted that our Medicare Supplement f was only for prescription drugs (it is a zero co-pay, zero deductible MEDICAL insurance). Instead of correcting the staff member, the office manager chastised me for insisting that she was wrong. I recently received a notice from my insurance company that, unless they received a form that Dr. Bhadja had signed in my presence and given to the staff to fax to the insurance company, my health insurance would be cancelled. I called the office to confirm that it had been sent. Rather than just assure me that the office had the fax confirmation on hand, I was transferred to the office manger, who accused me of being argumentative, told me that it had been sent and said it was "not my job" to simply call the insurance company to inform them. I hadn't argued with anyone, I had just asked to have the office confirm that this very important form had indeed been delivered. It is the job of the staff to care for the patients, not to do as little as possible and get paid for it.

Dr. Bhadja has been mine and my husband's primary care physician for more than 20 years. We've moved nearly 18 miles away from his former and his new office and still desire to see only him. He's the only reason we haven't looked for a primary physician closer to our home. Another doctor once told me his thought Dr. Bhadja was the smartest man he'd ever known. I really just don't like him I don't know he comes across like a know-it-all he doesn't believe in the coronavirus. that strikes me is kind of strange he always ask me about my back I don't have a back problem and my main thing is he told me I was taking medication for a heart problem I've never been diagnosed with a heart problem I have high blood pressure and he put me on another high blood pressure pill but you told me to keep taking the one for heart problems and I don't understand that.

I explained my condition to the doctor who was SO SURE it was not the correct problem (even though it's been documented as a condition for over 5 years). upon inspection of the area in question he corrected himself and said I could be right but he wants me to see a different specialist than the last one I saw to confirm. dr had no interest in filling the requested prescriptions only to drug test me prior to me receiving any pain medication. he proceeded to prescribe me 2 medications I will not take due to the side effects.
