Biography

Chinonso Akintomowo, PA-C, trained at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and is board-certified by NCCPA. Her patient care philosophy is to treat patients like individuals, advocate for them and help them make informed decisions.

PA-C Chinonso pursued a career in medicine because she was inspired by medical professionals who helped take care of a family member during her childhood. She chose to work in primary care because she’s always loved growing with her patients. She relishes being a part of their journey—whether helping them get their health under control or witnessing them become grandparents for the first time. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients achieve their health goals.

PA-C Chinonso was born in Dallas and raised in Carrollton, Texas. She is married, with one child. She enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, reading and indulging in reality shows and K-dramas. Clinically, she is particularly interested in helping her patients manage allergies, asthma, behavioral health conditions, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, menopause, obesity and thyroid disease.
