David De La Llata, MD

David de la Llata, MD went into medicine because it was an opportunity to help people through the art and science of medicine. He chose family medicine because it allows him to see a wide spectrum of patients across their entire lifespans. 

Dr. De la Llata has lived in Brownsville, Texas, his entire life. He attended medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in Mexico and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. De la Llata is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In his practice, he helps patients manage chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.

Outside of work, Dr. De la Llata loves spending time with his family and trying out new places to eat.
