Biography

Cory Kern, PA-C, practices primary care and internal medicine. He completed his physician assistant training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Mr. Kern pursued a career as a physician assistant because he enjoys helping people solve problems and improve their quality of life. His favorite part of being a PA is helping people improve their health by educating them about how to live a healthy life.

Mr. Kern’s patient care approach is “give a fish, feed you today; teach you to fish, feed you for life,” meaning that he believes in giving people the tools they need to truly make a difference in their own lives.

Mr. Kern was born in Colorado but raised in Weatherford, Texas, where he currently resides. He is married with two sons and two daughters, as well as three grandchildren. His hobbies outside of work include woodworking, fixing up old trucks, camping and fishing. He is also a proud veteran, having served in the United States Army Infantry.
