Martha Pena is Fantastic! She is a concerned care giver....I wished she worked else where. Where they cared about Health Care and not just MONEY!!! from Medicare.... I am sad that if I can not get this billing corrected I will have to search for someone new. She is the best....but I am retired and my Medicare and PPO BC/BS paid everything in full.....I have gone to her for 14 years when I returned to Tampa. I wanted to stay with her. I am very upset with Optum and at this point right now, would never advice anyone to go there after what Optum has done!!!!!

A little or moderately cold in demeanor. Not as friendly as the rest of staff and front office. The DOCTOR there is very friendly AND ENCORAGING. HE MAKES ONE WANT TO BE HEALTHIER in what you can do to be healthier.I saw him once when Martha on vacation. THREE times in a year I asked her something of a medical nature, and she shrugged her shoulder and said, a little comically, "Well, I don't know." EXCEPT for the last visit, she makes me feel depressed and SHE looks depressed. She saw me last year and reviewed and informed me of recent tests. At the end, she said quietly and quickly, with her head down, "Oh, by the way you have emphysema. But i it's very mild." Wow! Very uncaring and unfeeling. Like a robot! Recommended no smoking AND did recommend to not smoke previously. But her attitude is very detached. You don't have to hold my hand, but I get nervous and very wary of seeing her. The med. assistants and front staff are very friendly, kind and caring. And have great personalities like the male dr. I love them. I may switch to the dr. there or go to another facility. I felt this way for almost two years, but didn't want Martha to get in any trouble. And wished to see a female for medical care.Now She WAS nice, and a little more caring on last visit [omitted]. Very different! But I still MAY want to change drs.
