Anna Alquiza, MD

Anna Alquiza, MD, graduated from the Cebu Institute of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at Englewood Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Alquiza was fascinated with the medical field from a young age, which encouraged her to pursue a career as a physician.

She enjoys the field of internal medicine because it allows her to form close relationships with her patients. She sees patients with a variety of conditions in her daily practice but has a special interest in treating patients with diabetes and high blood pressure.

Dr. Alquiza's approach to patient care focuses on active listening. She believes it is vital to actively listen to patient's needs and concerns without distractions. Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Alquiza now resides just a few minutes away from her current work place in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Alquiza's entire family is part of the health care community, including her husband who is also a physician. To support her personal wellness, she plays the piano almost every day.
