Mike Martinez, PA

Mike Martinez, PA, is a physician assistant who completed his training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. His care philosophy is to provide patient-centered care by combining evidence-based medicine with empathy, education and open communication.

PA Martinez pursued a career in medicine to make a direct impact on patients’ lives and improve health outcomes in his community. The PA profession appealed to him because of its versatility and focus on teamwork. He chose primary care as a specialty because it allows him to focus on prevention, continuity of care and improving overall patient outcomes. His favorite part of his job is combining clinical problem-solving with compassionate, comprehensive patient care.

PA Martinez was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Outside of work, he enjoys watching both old and new movies. Clinically, he is particularly interested in helping patients manage arthritis, asthma, COPD, diabetes and high blood pressure, among other conditions. PA Martinez is board-certified by NCCPA.
