Last time I saw her she said she was going to check on Diabetic Censor to see if my insurance was would cover it and sated she would come right back. I waited several minutes and Nurse Assistant came in and said that Thelma stated I could leave. I told Nurse Assistant that she had absolutely not finished with me because I requested labs for anemia and Nurse Assistant left to go ask her and she said that I could schedule a follow up appointment for that. I went to front desk and and flow up was already scheduled by the time I got to front desk for 6 month follow for anemia labs. I left and my blood pressure was so high. I called the following Monday and scheduled appointment with Jennifer Fowler. Another one of my concerns is that when yiu go for a Dr visit they only concentrate on the problems you have right then. I had sinus infection and strep when I saw Thelma so labs for anemia was not even a question or concern to her. If she would’ve explained that I needed to return for labs another day I would’ve been ok but to have a follow up for 6 months instead of 2 weeks to make sure pneumonia would not set in. Six month follow up was a joke. Extremely upset with the unprofessional way the Nurse Attendant reactions to my concerns about lab for anemia and need refill on prescription none was taken care of until I went back to see Jennifer and she said I needed a steroid shot because I was not improving fast enough from visit with Thelma. I have to say Nurse Assistant that advised me that Thelma was finished and I could leave was extremely rude. Didn’t get name. She didn’t help my situation but only made it worse by directing me to front desk for a 6 months instead appointment. I’m not one to complain but since I was misdiagnosed with Cancer and I went 3 years without 2 Dr.’s notifying me. I am very cautious with my health needs.
