Biography

It was always my childhood dream to become a doctor. Caring for people is at the heart of medicine, and that really suits my personality. I think it is a great privilege to be able to help people when they are at their most vulnerable.
I grew up in the area, so after graduating from Colleyville High School, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, and then earned my medical degree at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine. I chose to specialize in internal medicine, and completed my residency in internal medicine at Oklahoma University Tulsa School of Community Medicine where I also cared for patients at Hillcrest Medical Center and St. John Medical Center.
As an internist, I get to see patients with varying backgrounds and medical issues. From diagnosis through treatment, I carefully consider the needs of each individual and create a care plan to address their unique needs. My philosophy about practicing medicine is pretty simple'build a strong relationship with each patient. Doing so helps me provide them with the best possible care. By working closely with my patients, I can help them accomplish their desired health goals.
When I'm not caring for patients, most of my free time is spent with my family. I have a toddler who doesn't get to spend a lot of time with me during weekdays, so we make up for it on the weekends. I love to read books, and am especially interested in reading about history. After being away from Texas for many years, I'm happy to be back in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and look forward to caring for the members of my community.
