Maria Alarcon, NP

Maria Teresa Alarcon, NP, has been working in health care for decades, first starting in the ER and ICU. She then decided to specialize in family medicine and psychiatric nursing. She takes pride in providing holistic care to a diverse group of patients.

NP Alarcon's faith influences her approach to medicine. She aims to help her patients heal their bodies and minds while also providing emotional, social and spiritual nourishment. She also offers support to patients dealing with mental health issues, as she believes mental well-being plays a significant role in physical health.

NP Alarcon graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Born in Mexico, she was raised in the United States. She takes pride in being a U.S. citizen and enjoys life in El Paso with her husband, children and grandchildren.
