Dr. Ortega is very attentive to my needs. His care during my year of cancer was over the top. He made sure I was taken care of every step of the way!!

I'd seen other staff on call. I'd had a fall and needed physical therapy. Three months later I followed up with Ortega and explained what happened. He gave me a referral for physical therapy and hopefully I'll get full use of my right arm after treatment.

Dr. Ortega is an excellent doctor and stays aware of what is going on with his patients. I went through having colon cancer and he was checking on me every 3 months if not sooner to make are I was ok and well taken care of.

Dr.Alonzo Ortega D.O MD.has always given me advice on excersizeing and losing weight for good health I would always put it off until one day I listened to everyone about my health I finally feeling good about my health and I'm doing excersizes everyday for 1 hour with yoga and I'm a lot healthier for the good of taking care of my sick mother Amen.

He is an amazing caring doctor, he takes his time to listen and answer my questions. He helped me lower my HA1c by teaching me the things I should eat and not eat, with his guidance I was able to lose 35 lbs and get my HA1c to normal and no longer borderline diabetic. And I didn't have to take any medicine all diet and exercise. Thank you Dr. Ortega!!

When I was having problems with BP and I walked in to see my PCP instead they send me to a FNP or PA did not consult the PCP on stronger medication cause my Systolic was high according to my podiatrist and liver physician instead send to monitor my BP. I since change doctor to Dr. Rocha. Giving him a shot if he is not capable for my needs going back to my old physician even if I have to drive to the medical center.

I have only seen him once. Seems to be trying to rush you out of the office for the next patient. Dr. Esquivel would sit down and talk to you regarding your lab test results etc. I was not given any lab test before my last visit until after the consultation was over. I guess I will not know the results until my next visit even though Dr. Rocha, another interim doctor, had said I had high cholesterol. I am seriously thinking of looking for another clinic.

He's a good doctor but doesn't really listen and seems to disregard things I tell him. In fact, I had the feeling that he thinks I lie to him. Which I DON'T and found extremely disrespectful. It would also help if he looks at a person, too, instead of staring at the computer screen on his laptop. I'll see if this situation continues on my next visit. Perhaps he was just having a bad day. Perhaps it was me since I was in extreme pain at the time of my visit. Whatever the reason, I was very upset with his attitude on this particular visit.
