Any communication is totally one way; all patient to doctor. Dr Nutson apparently feels he is above communicating with his patients. And then on top of it, he doesn't care to listen (ie. wrong or totally diastrous referrals, which cost patient fruitless expenditures of time and money.) Almost to point of staying away from any WellMed care because all it does it cost patient fruitless expenditures of time and money. Lazy physicians, rather than solving problems that can easily be corrected by OTC products and laymen, just do referrals. And almost always those referrals just end up costing patient fruitless time and money.

He seemed to feel like I was criticizing him when I noted that my records had not been updated, which I thought was kind of odd, since it was my first meeting with him. I wasn't confident that he was paying close attention to my questions, although he answered them all. Maybe I was looking for a deeper dive into my concerns. I'm confident that if I ever have a serious health problem that he'll be fully involved. I don't mean to be too critical. I know he had more patients to see that day than me. I'm sure Dr. Nutson is an excellent doctor.

First time being seen by Dr Nutson . Wonderful people skills .. wanted to know everything about my history .. meds I was taking .. explained cancer journey .. wanted to know who my cancer Dr. was .. What treatment .. wanted to know if I've had a diabetes test lately .. had the test the same day at their lab and was informed that my A1C had come in at 5.7 .. excellent news. I'm not sure if he is just filling in until a new Dr. is found to replace Dr Youngblood but I would certainly be pleased to become his patient.

Dr. Nutson was my PCP before he joined WellMed. Since I was not a Medicare eligible patient I had to find another PCP. That PCP retired in late 2023 and I saw that Dr. Nutson was still practicing with WellMed, so I ask him to be my PCP again and he agreed.

I'd give him a rating of 15 if it was allowed. He was great! He entered the room with a big smile, and it got better from there. He was very efficient and fast, but we still got to talk about everything I needed to talk about (and a couple of extra things), he went through my meds & supplements and told me what I could eliminate (because I asked), we went through my lab report and he made it very clear what was a problem. He wound up giving me an "A" (just like in school--I loved it!) and, when I looked at his report of our visit, he remarked on several things that he hadn't actually mentioned to me but that he had noticed as he went through the exam. The only thing he didn't do, and I was surprised, because there's a sign on the wall about it, was examine my feet, since I had an A1C level of 6.4. However, aside from that, he was THE most thorough and helpful and speedy and efficient doctor I've ever worked with in my [omitted] years on the planet. I WISH HE WOULD STAY at WellMed--or that I could follow him to wherever he normally practices.
