Rohan Coutinho, MD

Rohan Coutinho, MD, practices under the philosophy of listening carefully to his patients’ needs and answering their questions honestly and to the best of his ability. He became a physician to care for people and participate in their positive health changes.

Dr. Coutinho was born in Bombay, India, and raised in El Paso, Texas. He earned his medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine and completed the Family Practice Residency Program at Christus Spohn Memorial Medical Center. With board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, his clinical interests include behavioral health, preventive care and sports medicine.

Spending time with his patients and positively interacting with coworkers are Dr. Coutinho’s favorite part of every day on the job. He appreciates the continuity of care that comes with family medicine, as it allows him to care for patients throughout their lives. Dr. Coutinho currently lives in San Antonio, where he enjoys playing basketball and pickleball and spending quality time with his friends, wife and children.
