Biography

As a family medicine physician, I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to get to know my patients on a personal level and build strong doctor-patient relationships. By carefully listening to each of my patients' concerns, I am able to provide personalized treatment to every member of the family. I believe that caring for and educating the entire family on their healthcare needs helps the whole family live healthier lives.

I was born in Houston and grew up in the D-FW area. I completed my undergraduate in biology at The University of Texas at Arlington. I moved to Iowa to complete my medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and from there, I went to Virginia to complete my family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Upon graduation, I went to work in outpatient family medicine at Duke University in North Carolina.

I moved back to the D-FW area in 2013 with my husband, who also works in the healthcare field as a radiologist. We live in Southlake with our children. Outside of caring for patients, I enjoy traveling, reading, exercising and exploring new restaurants with my husband.
