Maria Famatigan, MD

Maria Famatigan, MD, believes patients can experience better health outcomes when they are more aware of their medical conditions. Her specialty is primary care, which allows her to help and serve many people from all walks of life.

Dr. Famatigan was born and raised in the Philippines and earned her medical degree at the University Of Santo Tomas in Manila. She decided to become a doctor upon realizing it is one of the only professions that offers no limits to the number of people she can help. Diabetes, menopause, thyroid diseases and women’s health are some of her top clinical interests.

Dr. Famatigan's favorite aspect of being a medical doctor is helping her patients experience relief and overcome their health challenges. She currently lives in El Paso, Texas. Reading, watching movies and playing games are her favorite activities outside of caring for her patients.
