I went in to see him for a follow up within the 5 day period after receiving 9 stitches in my leg in the emergency room following an accident. He spent less than 5 minutes in the room, never looked at the wound at all that was bandaged. What if it had become infected or if the stitches had pulled out?

I feel like all he care about is billable my insurance. He doesn't listen to me on the thing I try to ask him. He mess. Up paperwork to other doctors ( he mark my foot instead of my ankle, he mark I was unable for surgery because of EKG which was wrong). I'm just over all the mistakes and looking for new doctor.

Very intelligent man, and soft spoken. Really reads through everything , labs, etc but when changed dosages on three prescriptions, did not explain why. Granted we should have been more diligent and pressing In asking why. Honestly, I was excited and shocked, then grew concerned. My Caregiver/Husband called office and left message. After a second time, he was called back by medical assistant. They replied they did not know why It was done nor why not explained. Would leave question for Doctor. We still have not been called back on the reasoning. Concerned to do as told, as two of the three are prescriptions from Specialists.Want to know reason and discuss!

dr. mathon could care less about his patients. he said hello and how are you. typed on the computer, then asked if i was still taking my 3 prescriptions. typed some more, then asked if he could increase the dosage on the Amnitripline, he asked if i wanted to try something else and when I said I only wanted a little more strength he typed some more, then said the receptionist would bring my paperwork. when she did bring the paperwork, i saw that the doctor had increased my presv4ription from 20mg to 50mg, which I said was too much and after the receptionist questioned the doctor hsaid i could cut the pill in half. even the pharmacist questioned such a large increase in the dosage.
