She takes the time to listen to me, and she really listens, I guess. If she doesn't she sure makes me feel like she does. However, when I go back 90 days later she always knows what I've talked about in the past. She's compassionate and caring, and will make a treatment plan based on what I can afford and what I can actually stick to. She knows my habits and my weaknesses and does her best to devise a treatment plan that will work for me. She's a remarkable PA and I would recommend her to anyone who I like.

I was there for the results on lab work! She was O.K. but not as good as the dr. I had in the past! I like Amber very much and I respect her knowledge, but would have liked to have had a better explanation of how to lower the high number on blood cholesterol, such as changing diet or foods to switch to instead of telling me I was prediabetic and needed to take my blood pressure for the next two weeks. My biggest problem has been the weather as haven't been able to do my walking, but when spring comes,I will do better. I am mad at myself for adding back foods that new better. Forgive my rambling, I will do better!

Because I did NOT have a sign language interpreter at my appointment. The nurse wrote questions for me to answer, then when Dr. Peterson came in she went through each question with me. She wrote everything down. We communicated through writing. My wife help with what she could try to help. My wife is also deaf. This was my first time to see Dr. Peterson, she was very nice.
