Biography

Kellye Grimes, PA, is a primary care clinician. She trained at UT Medical Branch at Galveston and is board-certified by NCCPA. Her care philosophy is to help patients make the best decisions possible about their health using evidence-based recommendations.

PA Grimes had an interest in science from a young age. She felt a calling to help others and decided to pursue a career in medicine. She enjoys the continuity of care that comes with working in primary care, following her patients over the long term and getting to know them outside of their medical concerns. Primary care also allows her to advocate for her patients and help them manage their overall care, especially when they have multiple specialists.

PA Grimes was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but raised in Mansfield, Texas. She is married with two children. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing and crafting. Clinically, PA Grimes is particularly interested in preventive care and treating COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Her favorite part of her job is educating her patients about disease processes.
