Biography

Ashley So, MD, believes preventive medicine is the key to good health. She takes pride in helping her patients find innovative ways to lead healthier lives. Dr. So pursued a medical career to join the fight against chronic disease and make a difference in people's lives. Today, she's proud to deliver holistic health care to a diverse group of patients throughout Dallas.

Dr. So attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She specializes in preventive medicine, women's health and behavioral health concerns.

Dr. So was born in South Korea and immigrated to the United States as a child. Today, she lives in Irving, Texas, with her husband and two children. Her family and career keep her busy, but whenever she has spare time, she enjoys visiting friends and catching up on the latest movies.
