Yarly Fassihnia, NP

Yarly Fassih-Nia, NP, is a nurse practitioner who trained at Walden University and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her patient care philosophy focuses on developing trusting relationships so her patients know they can count on her.

NP Fassih-Nia pursued a career in health care because she was always curious about medicine and how the human body works. As an RN in the hospital, she enjoyed educating patients about their illnesses, inspiring her to become a nurse practitioner. Choosing family medicine so she could treat patients of all ages, her favorite part of her job is helping patients understand what’s happening in their bodies and how medications and non-pharmacological interventions can change their health outcomes.

NP Fassih-Nia was born in London, England, and raised in Texas. Outside of work, she loves doing anything outdoors, such as hiking, walking, running, biking or snowboarding. She also enjoys reading and traveling. Clinically, she is particularly interested in helping patients manage COPD, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity. She is also passionate about preventive care.
