John Phillips, MD, is dedicated to providing top-quality care to families in the San Antonio area. He believes in the power of doctor-patient relationships and forges close partnerships with his patients to ensure their care goals are always met.

As a child, Dr. Phillips dreamed of becoming a small-town doctor. He understands community care providers play a vital role in keeping families healthy. Today, he's proud to have achieved his goal of establishing a lifelong career in medicine. Dr. Phillips has enjoyed serving as a family medicine provider for over 40 years and looks forward to continuing to care for local families. He takes pride in giving patients his undivided attention and the support they need to thrive.

Dr. Phillips graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his residency at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born in Weatherford, Texas, he lives in San Antonio with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and relaxing with his family.
