Horacio Ramirez, MD

Horacio Ramirez, MD, believes getting to know his patients individually is key to providing great care. Establishing a strong connection allows him to help improve his patients’ well-being. Prevention and exercise are areas of emphasis in his practice.

Dr. Ramirez was born and raised in Hebbronville, Texas. He attended University of Texas in Austin and received a bachelors in biology. He then left Texas and earned his medical degree at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. He continued his post-graduate studies as an Intern at UCLA Harbor General and completed his residency with the University Health System in San Antonio. He holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. 

Dr. Ramirez attempts to provide actionable advice to patients of all ages. Dr. Ramirez has a strong passion for medicine and comes from an extensive family of physicians who inspired him to pursue a career in the profession. His favorite aspect of being a doctor is visiting with patients face-to-face. He currently lives in San Antonio, where he enjoys fitness training and spending quality time with his family.
