Biography

Richard Prezas, MD, grew up in Corpus Christi, TX. He attended the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, followed by a residency in family practice in the Corpus Christi Family Medicine Residency Program. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Prezas decided to study medicine after his mother passed away from breast cancer when he was a teenager. That experience inspired him to want to help others who needed expert care.

In his practice, Dr. Prezas focuses on establishing a rapport and personal relationship with his patients and their families. He enjoys the opportunity to get to know patients and their families.

Dr. Prezas is married to his wife, who is a nurse practitioner. He also has three sons.
